Trust is the Mechanic
Every other RPG asks: did you win? We ask: did you understand? The Fandom Engine isn't a feature list. It's a new architecture for what a game can make you feel.
Earned Trust System: NPCs don't follow you — they decide whether to trust you. Every choice costs something real.
Music as Emotional Contract: Each character has a musical signature. Sparse on first meeting, fuller as trust builds. In Fracture states: devastating silence.
Resonance / Fracture States: The game never uses 'Win' or 'Fail.' Every outcome is a Resonance (trust built) or a Fracture (trust cost). Fracture paths are not dead ends. They are consequences that carry forward.
